Warranty FAQs
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact your original Minmar dealer or installer to initiate a warranty claim. They will help you document the issue and submit your claim. Alternatively, you can contact Minmar customer service directly at (516) 222-9222 or through our online form.
How do I transfer my warranty to a new homeowner?
To transfer your warranty, the new homeowner must notify Minmar within 30 days of the property transfer. A warranty transfer form must be completed and submitted along with a small processing fee. The transferred warranty continues for 10 years from the original installation date.
What isn't covered by the warranty?
Our warranty does not cover damage from improper installation (unless installed by a certified Minmar installer), accidents, fire, flood, acts of God, vandalism, riot or civil disorder, misuse, abuse, or improper care. Normal wear and tear, including weathering and minor color changes, are also not covered.
What does "Limited Lifetime" mean?
"Limited Lifetime" means the warranty is in effect for as long as the original purchaser owns and occupies the home where the products were installed. The warranty has certain limitations and exclusions as detailed in the full warranty document.
